The journey begins at the revered Thrangu Tashi Yangtse Monastery, a peaceful hilltop sanctuary associated with the legend of the Buddha’s selfless act of compassion. Pilgrims and hikers alike find spiritual calm and breathtaking views of the Himalayas from here. -
Countryside Walking:
The hike meanders through serene forests, pine groves, and mustard fields. You’ll pass small Tamang and Newar settlements, where traditional lifestyles and warm hospitality are still part of everyday life. -
Panoramic Views:
On clear days, the trail offers distant views of the snowcapped Langtang and Dorje Lakpa ranges. The picturesque landscapes and fresh mountain air make the walk refreshing and energizing. -
