Scenic drive from Pokhara through lush valleys, terraced fields, and forests.
Panoramic mountain views – Annapurna II (7,937m), Lamjung Himal (6,983m), and Machhapuchhre (6,993m).
Less crowded & peaceful trekking route compared to Annapurna Base Camp or Ghorepani.
Itinerary
Day 1: Drive from Pokhara to Sikles (1,981m) – 4-5 hrs drive
- Early morning drive from Pokhara to Sikles village (via Taprang & Tangting).
- Explore traditional Gurung village and interact with locals.
- Overnight at homestay in Sikles.
Day 2: Trek from Sikles to Hugu Goth (2,100m) – 6-7 hrs
- Start trekking through rhododendron forests, waterfalls, and small villages.
- Gradual uphill walk to Hugu Goth, a seasonal herding settlement.
- Overnight at teahouse in Hugu Goth.
Day 3: Trek from Hugu Goth to Kapuche Glacier Lake (2,546m) & Return to Sikles – 6-7 hrs
- Early morning trek to Kapuche Glacier Lake (about 3 hrs).
- Enjoy stunning reflections of mountains on the glacier lake.
- Return trek to Sikles village (about 4 hrs).
- Overnight at homestay in Sikles.
Day 4: Drive from Sikles to Pokhara – 4-5 hrs
- Enjoy a relaxed morning in Sikles village.
- Drive back to Pokhara via the scenic Madi River valley.
- End of the trek!
